John -- It's my job to make sure that Gretchen Whitmer's grassroots operation and re-election campaign meets the fundraising goals needed to pass her ambitious agenda, to make sure Michigan turns blue in 2020, and to make sure we are preparing for our re-election campaign.

But in just a few hours I have a meeting with Gretchen to check in on our campaign's most important fundraising goal since Gretchen got elected governor last year.

And right now, we're nearly $10,000 short of our grassroots fundraising goal.
