John, We’ve come a long way together over the past three years. Through successes and adversity alike, we stayed true to our One Minnesota values and transcended the politics of fear and division that’s taken hold of so much of our politics in Washington, DC, and moved forward to write our own story. Despite facing one of the only divided legislatures in the country, year after year, we secured historic investments in education, health care, and community prosperity in every corner of the state – from Winona to Wadena, from St. Paul to St. Cloud. We took bold action on climate change, making Minnesota a clean car state – giving Minnesotans more choices at the dealership, creating jobs, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We faced the challenges brought on by COVID-19 the way Minnesotans always do when faced with hardship — with grit and resilience. I couldn’t be more proud of the progress we’ve made together. But in Minnesota, we know better than to quit before the job is done. Donald Trump is no longer president, but make no mistake: His Minnesota allies are as committed as ever to carrying his politics forward. If we’re going to permanently protect reproductive freedom, safeguard the right to vote, and continue making the investments we need to provide an unparalleled quality of life for every Minnesotan in every zip code, we can’t give in to those who are trying to divide us. Our third end-of-quarter deadline is coming up this Thursday, and right now, we still have $16,320 left to raise to meet our target. It would be a major blow if we came up short. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: There is no path to a brighter future for our state and country unless we walk it together. I’m grateful, Tim Walz
