GOOD NEWS: We are on the way toward reaching our 2,000 donations goal before our first, full official FEC fundraising deadline comes to an end and we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers.
BAD NEWS: Our average online donation has plummeted since we kicked off this push — it’s about $5 less than it was one week ago. That’s not great.
So we have two choices: either we need A LOT more donations between now and the time this deadline ends, or we need to ask people to chip in a little bit more than we otherwise might.
Normally we ask people to make a $3 donation the first time they are chipping in online. But if you could contribute $10 today, it would mean a lot toward making sure we had A LOT of donations and raised the kind of money we need to win.
