We hear some Republicans in Washington say nasty things all the time. That's the sad reality we live in right now. But something happened yesterday that I can't get over so easily.

Lindsey Graham--a United States Senator from South Carolina--described Trump's impeachment inquiry in Congress as "a lynching in every sense."

Words matter. Lindsey Graham should know why he's wrong to invoke such a painful and awful part of our history. He should know what that word means to so many Americans. His state saw the horrors of lynching up close, as did we in Colorado.

He should know all of that. And he said it anyway to defend Donald Trump.

Lindsey Graham deserves to lose his job for a lot of reasons, but this comment in particular makes me want to stand up and help the person who will defeat him.

Jaime Harrison is within striking distance of Graham in the latest polling, and he's already closing the fundraising gap. He can win, and we can help.
