FEC end-of-quarter deadline.

So I’m writing to you today to explain why this is our most important goal

 Here’s why this goal is such a big deal for Team Cori:

* Everyone’s watching to see what number we put out. Political pundits,
potential future challengers for Cori's seat in 2022, and of course
the GOP will be looking to see how much support Cori has and assessing
the strength of our progressive movement. Now that we’re getting
closer to election season, this is going to be a pivotal moment to
define our strength before a challenger decides to jump into this
race.

* Cori is building momentum for bold solutions and it’s critical we show
our support right now. From introducing the Keeping Renters Safe Act,
to leading urgent resistance against the construction of Pipeline 3 —
Cori is on the cusp of delivering urgent change to our communities. If
we want to bring these solutions to life, we need a huge show of
support to continue building momentum.

* And lastly, Cori doesn’t rely on donations from Big Pharma or
corporate PACs to get this work done. She’s relying on this movement.
At the end of the quarter, we will assess how many donations we
received and determine how ambitious we can be with our work in the
future. Every dollar you give directly powers Cori’s organizing and
legislating work for the next couple of months.
