Dear Friend, What are you doing on Thursday
night?
We have a great idea! Join us for the 10th
Anniversary Celebration of Carolina Values as we celebrate 10 years of
being on the front lines, fighting the battles that keep North
Carolina a state where human life is valued, marriages and families
flourish, and religious freedom thrives! We are there on your behalf,
and we invite you to celebrate our 10 years of success with
us! One reason Thursday night will be very special
is that we have two amazing keynote speakers-men who are fighting in
their spheres of influence for the same values we fight for-Lt.
Governor Mark Robinson and Edward Graham. If you didn't see our email
last week about keynote speaker Lt. Governor Mark
Robinson, you will want to read
this!
Our other amazing keynote speaker is Edward
Graham, who is the youngest son of Franklin and Jane Graham,
and the grandson of Billy Graham. He is serving as Assistant to the
Vice President of Programs & Government Relations for Samaritan's
Purse. Edward graduated from the United States Military Academy where
he went on to serve 16 years in the US Army. After multiple combat
deployments within Special Operations and serving in various
leadership positions, he felt called by the Lord to return home and
serve in the ministry of Samaritan's Purse starting in the winter of
2018. Operation Heal Our Patriots is a new
ministry that Samaritans Purse has initiated, and Edward Graham has
been instrumental in its effectiveness. Operation Heal Our Patriots
gives wounded veterans and their spouses the opportunity for spiritual
refreshment, physical renewal, and marriage enrichment. Couples
participate in Biblically based seminars that help strengthen their
relationships with God and others and enjoy the beauty of God's
creation with outdoor activities at an Alaskan wilderness
lodge. Edward spoke to a group of men at the Cove
last spring, and many have reported that he has the same gift as his
grandfather Billy Graham-the gift of evangelism and preaching. We
can't wait to hear Edward on Thursday night, and I hope you will be
there to hear him too! Tickets
are going fast, and we're almost sold out! I encourage you to get
your tickets now, and I will see you on Thursday
night!
Sincerely,
Tami Fitzgerald North Carolina Values Coalition
