FIRST: Our district was named as a TOP TARGET for the NRCC -- meaning Kevin McCarthy is ready to go all-in to try and defeat Lauren next year.

THEN: Top election watcher Sabato’s Crystal Ball added IL-14 as one of the only TOSS-UP districts in the entire country -- meaning this race is anyone’s game right now.

NOW: Our very first opponent officially filed with the FEC to run against Lauren -- meaning we need to keep our pedal to the metal in order to keep momentum on our side.

This grassroots team has been tested at every turn this year. We didn’t get any “time off” after Lauren’s victory in 2020 thanks to a six-month-long election contest. And now, the 2022 race is already in full swing.
