NRA President steps down after short tenure. John,
Last week, NRA President Carolyn Meadows stepped down from her position after a tumultuous two years for the deadly organization she helmed. Her most notable act last year? Shredding documents that would’ve incriminated the NRA during their bankruptcy trial.
No matter who takes the reins as the next Liar In Chief, they will stop at nothing in pursuit of their deadly agenda – it’s the way of the NRA. They have spent decades packing Congress with their cronies and stopping lifesaving gun violence prevention from being passed. And they will continue to choose gun industry profits over the American people every time.
Thankfully, I know that gun violence prevention activists like you are dedicated to American safety, and we need your help now more than ever to stop the NRA’s deadly agenda once and for all – tens of thousands of lives hang in the balance. Will you sign our petition to dissolve the NRA right now and help us truly protect the health and well-being of all Americans? [[link removed]]

Brady has fought for decades to end the NRA’s stranglehold on our democracy, and right now, we have a better chance than ever of ending their reign of terror. They are facing lawsuits and accusations of misuse of donations to fund their lavish lifestyles – they’re beginning to crumble under public pressure, but we can’t let up now.
That's why we urgently need your help, John: We can’t afford more NRA obstruction when background checks, closing deadly loopholes, and an assault weapons ban are all on the line. To end the NRA’s deadly agenda once and for all, we need all gun violence prevention activists on our side: Will you sign our petition to dissolve the NRA right now? [[link removed]]
