Which party is in charge in Washington matters. A lot. What's happened in Washington this month alone proves that my Democratic colleagues and I need to fight twice as hard just to keep this country on the right track.
I wanted to write to you directly to help set my top-line policy priorities for the coming year. Part of my job as a member of Congress who governs with conscience is to regularly solicit opinions from my strongest supporters.
Please, John, I'm counting on your feedback to know how best to fight for our values in the House.
