This week, Mitch McConnell hit up his big donors on behalf of Susan Collins at a closed-door, invite-only gathering of wealthy right-wing funders.

We weren't invited (not surprised and not disappointed), but we've got a good guess how it went down:

He probably bragged about how, thanks to Susan Collins, he's been able to step up attacks on reproductive rights by ramming through the most extreme Supreme Court justices in recent history.

He must've crowed about her vote to give billionaires and corporations a massive tax cut paid for by working families.

You can bet he told those donors that he needs Susan Collins by his side as he undermines voter protections, sabotages the Affordable Care Act, and delivers on Donald Trump's warped vision of America.

In other words, John, Mitch McConnell is hitting the road to ask his favorite fat cats for money to attack everything we're fighting for.
