As Pete Buttigieg rails against Medicare for All, health care executives are spending big to back his campaign. From July 2019 to September 2019, Pete’s presidential campaign cashed checks from over 100 high level executives and lobbyists in the for-profit health care sector.
Buttigieg used to be in favor of Medicare for All, now he’s one of its biggest opponents. He has also insulted Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren for choosing to fund their campaigns with small-dollar, grassroots donations from working-class people across the country.
The difference is clear: Buttigieg isn’t building the progressive, multi-racial, working class movement that is needed to beat Trump in 2020.
