Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight just STUNNED us:

Based on the latest polls, the election forecasters at FiveThirtyEight estimate Republicans could win the House popular vote by up to SEVEN points!

Democrats would lose the House in a LANDSLIDE! (And the Senate too!)

And to make matters worse, we still need to raise $10,816 before the FEC’s End-of-Quarter fundraising deadline at midnight on Thursday. Democrats are ALREADY at a disadvantage, we can’t afford to fall short this early!

John — Can you rush an urgent contribution of $5 or more to make sure Democrats have the resources to win battleground races all across the country?

We know that history is against us, John. The President’s party loses seats during the midterm elections nearly every time!

But we NEVER thought that it would get this bad.

Democrats only hold an 8 vote majority in the House! If FiveThirtyEight’s predictions are correct our Democratic Majority could be WIPED OUT!

That’s why we’re SO WORRIED about this critical fundraising goal!

After the FEC’s End-of-Quarter deadline, we’ll have to open our books and show everyone (the media, Republicans, EVERYONE!) how much we’ve raised.
