This year we’ve fought harder than ever before. We were prepared and ready for a strong carbon price push, but we’re not done. The Senate is considering a carbon price along with other climate provisions in budget reconciliation. At the conference this fall, join us to get the scoop on the status of carbon pricing in budget reconciliation, CCL’s vision for moving forward, and what we need to do to get there. 

The conference starts at 1pm ET/10am PT on November 13th. You won’t want to miss what we have planned:

• Remarkable keynote speaker: Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, co-editor of All We Can Save, will share her perspective on the future of climate action, and how CCL fits in.
• Checking in on other solutions: What other climate solutions go hand in hand with carbon pricing to avoid the worst impacts of climate change?
• Growing our power: who do we need to work with, and what skills do we need to build grassroots power in order reach our goals?
• Choose a Sunday Seminar for November 14th: go deeper into a topic than a regular conference breakout. Seminar choices include: 
• Climate advocate training workshop (if you are a new volunteer, this is for you!)
• Opening hearts and minds with evidence-based communication techniques
• What can we offer each other: a discussion among right and left leaning CCLers
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion workshop with Pamela Benson Owens
• Closer look at budget reconciliation climate provisions
