Hi friend: There's been a lot going on, but I wanted to send you a quick update from the campaign trail. 

I hate to lead with this, but first things first: Donald Trump. He's coming to Iowa soon to rally his base in an effort to keep our state from flipping blue. A Trump rally could mean major momentum for Republicans and our campaign needs to be ready to fight back. 

Secondly, Fox News and the campaign arm of the Senate GOP recently launched simultaneous attacks against me. They're coming after us because they know this team has what it takes to defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley and ensure Democrats keep control of the Senate. I intend to prove them right. 

Most importantly, we need resources to combat the misinformation Fox News and Trump’s allies are spreading across Iowa (and the country!). National Republicans and Sen. Grassley keep refusing to tell the truth, so we’re going to have to work even harder to drown out their lies. That's why we're in a major push to raise $100,000 ahead of our first public end-of-quarter FEC reporting deadline.

At this stage in the game, with our fundraising going public for the very first time, every single grassroots dollar we raise matters immensely – especially with Senate control on the line. So with our end-of-quarter deadline quickly approaching, I'm asking you to please make a contribution.
