The findings of Arizona’s post-election audit were released last week. It took many months, cost millions of dollars, failed to engage real election officials, and re-affirmed the legitimate outcome of the election.

But here’s the truth: it wasn't an "audit" at all. It was a bad faith stunt. Run by a company without any election audit experience called Cyber-Ninjas and funded by political donors, the review of the election results produced only embarrassment for its architects.

The Cyber Ninjas review in Arizona was never intended to be a serious "audit." It was intended to create unfounded doubt, stir hostility, and justify further erosion of the freedom to vote. Join me in calling out these fake audits that are jeopardizing our safe and secure elections.

Now, other states are now considering Arizona-style stunts masquerading as "audits." Texas is the latest. Wisconsin is on its way. And Pennsylvania may follow.

We need to call out these sham "audits" for what they are: An attempt to undermine faith in the election system in service of the Big Lie. America deserves better. The 2020 election was fundamentally fair, accurate, honest, and secure. No amount of political game-playing will change that. If you agree, add your name now →
