Hi John,
Big news this month: We are all wrapped up on endorsements for 2021!* For the whole year, Run for Something has endorsed 391 campaigns led by diverse young progressives eager to drive change.
We've already seen some exceptional candidates deliver BIG wins.
In Cleveland, Justin Bibb advanced from the primary for mayor of Cleveland in a true grassroots victory against the establishment. It's the first time there was a Cleveland mayoral election without an incumbent on the ballot since 2001.
In Massachusetts, Kendra Hicks came in first in her preliminary for Boston City Council. If she wins in November, she will be the first Black woman to represent her district.
We're so damn proud of our candidates but the work isn't finished yet. Run for Something needs to do our part in helping them get over the finish line and into office.
Our work is critical to building lasting power for the progressive movement, and it demands our energy every single day. Please, if you can, chip in $5 before the end of the quarter to continue recruiting, supporting, and electing diverse young progressives.
