John -- what a way to start the week! Republicans in Texas’ State Senate just released their draft congressional map. At this point, I don’t need to tell you that the congressional maps for the second most populous state in the nation are going to have a HUGE impact on the entire country.
Look, I’m about to head into a bunch of back-to-back meetings with our team to analyze and discuss this map. But if the state Senate maps that were released last week and had ZERO competitive seats tell us anything, it’s that Texas Republicans are likely to try to maximize their advantage through unfair manipulation.
