I’m deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power our movement -- because funding our campaign from the grassroots level makes a powerfully important difference.

Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a little at a time.

It’s the difference between a government that works great for those at the top and a government that can work for everyone.

With a grassroots-funded movement, we can fight back against powerful interests like the gun lobby, Big Pharma, and fossil fuel giants who've used their deep pockets to block change.

And every three months, when we publish our fundraising numbers after the quarterly FEC deadline, we get a chance to show that grassroots donors like you are still in this fight.

If you’re able to, will you pitch in $3 or whatever makes sense by the September 30 deadline? Your donation will support our re-election campaign and help us and the PCCC elect champions for working people up and down the ballot.

In the last election cycle, grassroots donors raised record amounts of money to flip the Senate and White House. Now, our toes are on the line to make big, structural change -- to loosen the stranglehold of big money on our democracy.

But we have to keep up the fight. We need to defend and expand our razor-thin majorities in 2022 -- because everything we’re working on in Washington right now would be a whole lot easier if we had more Democrats in office. And it would all come screeching to a halt if Republicans take back the House or the Senate.
