Hi there,
Studies have shown that children who complete quality pre-K programs have better outcomes throughout their academic and professional careers.
Unfortunately, not every child is guaranteed the opportunity to attend pre-K -- especially those from lower-income families and communities of color.
Right now, our leaders in the House are working on a solution that will expand opportunity to more children by increasing the budget for two federal education assistance programs by $4 billion. With this budget increase, these programs will have access to more pre-K resources and schools will be able to take thousands of needy children off of waitlists.
As always, thanks for being part of these critical fights. We couldn’t win them without you.
Best,
Progressive Majority
