Hi there. Since John and I helped secure the temporary Child Tax Credit expansion earlier this year, checks have gone to over one million Colorado kids. The first payments that went out in July kept three million kids out of poverty and we’re just getting started.

For years, parents have told me stories about working two or three jobs, yet they still couldn’t put food on the table or get their kids new shoes for school; no matter how hard they worked, they couldn’t get their kids out of poverty. The expanded Child Tax Credit is already boosting the incomes of Colorado’s families to help parents pay for child care, groceries, and school supplies. But, payments are set to end in December.

While John and I fight for a permanent expansion of the tax credit, National Republicans are targeting my seat so they can flip the Senate and halt all the progress that we’ve made. Not one Republican voted for the Child Tax Credit expansion so your support is critical to keep Colorado blue.

Split a donation between John and my re-election campaign to keep Colorado blue and help us continue fighting for Colorado’s families.

We’re already seeing the benefits of the temporary, expanded Child Tax Credit. U.S. Census data shows that economic hardship declined in households with children following the first payments of the expanded Child Tax Credit in July. We can’t afford to lose the progress we’ve made, which is why I have to ask:

Will you split a donation between John and me to keep Colorado’s Senate seats blue?
