I want to take a minute to talk to you about the latest opponent to enter our race for New Jersey’s 11th.

He’s a former mayor and New Jersey county commissioner and the New Jersey Globe calls him a “proven vote-getter” who ran five points ahead of Donald Trump in 2020.

Of course, I’m confident in this grassroots team’s ability to bring home another win for NJ-11 next year, but we can’t underestimate what we’re up against and we can’t take anything for granted.

The FEC deadline is this Thursday. After we submit our finance report, it’ll be public for everyone to see -- including our newest opponent.

All of our opponents (there are five of them!) and outside groups will be looking at our FEC report to size up our campaign as we enter the final quarter before the election year. We won’t get another chance to show the strength of our re-election campaign for another three months.
