Dear Friends,
I’m am so grateful to be able to provide you this update prepared
and issued over the weekend personally by Cardinal Burke on his
continuing recovery and expression of gratitude for all of you praying
for him.
It is wonderful progress knowing His Eminence is in the comfort of
a private residence now as well as very near his family as he
continues to rest and regain his strength. In his letter, he mentions
that he offers his prayers and sufferings for your many intentions.
Also, His Eminence recognizes and makes a special note to say, “Our
Lord has preserved me in life for some work which He wishes me to
carry out, with the help of His grace, for love of Him and of His
Mystical Body, the Church.”
I know all of you along with the entire outreach apostolate arm of
Cardinal Burke, Catholic Action for Faith and Family will do
everything possible to assist him in that crucial work beginning by
remaining fervent in our prayers for his full recovery.
Once again, let's rejoice in the news of Cardinal Burke's progress,
as he continues to recover from the coronavirus; and most consoling,
that we are able to read this report from the personal writing of His
Eminence. Please take a few minutes to read, Those
Who are Praying for Me, penned by His Eminence.
