First, Alessandra led a state senate ethics hearing into JCOPE, New York
State’s failed ethics committee. She and her colleagues found that JCOPE
enables abuse of power in state government — not great, to say the least.
But:

Immediately after, JCOPE launched an investigation into a case it had
bungled, and pledged to demand that Andrew Cuomo return proceeds from his
$5 million book deal if it is found he violated state law.

And just recently, we received news that several individuals who
contributed to JCOPE’s corruption and lack of transparency have resigned.

It’s clear that AB’s hard work to clean up corruption in New York State is
paying off.

works to reform Albany from the ground up? Our end of month deadline is

The culture of corruption in our state government is unacceptable, but if
