I’m honored to have my colleague and dear friend Congresswoman Doris Matsui join me for a virtual reception and conversation on Monday, October 4th at 4:30p.

I have the great privilege of working side-by-side with Congresswoman Matsui as part of the CA Congressional Delegation and on the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Health Subcommittee which I chair. Together we are tackling climate change, infrastructure needs, and health inequities, and are working to hasten our State’s economic recovery. Along these lines, earlier this year we reintroduced bipartisan legislation to improve critical communication capabilities during life-threatening emergencies such as the fires that have plagued our respective Districts.
