Team—
Anti-abortion lawmakers have been decimating abortion access in states across the country. And while the Center for Reproductive Rights and our partners have been ringing the alarm for years, abortion care remains out of reach for many.
The people hurt most by abortion restrictions are those who already face barriers to accessing health care—including Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), those having a hard time making ends meet, members of the LGBTQI+ community, immigrants, young people, those living in rural communities, and people with disabilities. These communities are left with fewer and fewer options to receive the care they need and deserve.
That's why this Saturday, October 2, the Center is joining over 150 other organizations for the Rally For Abortion Justice. Will you join us?
The Rally for Abortion Justice is a national demonstration of our collective uprising led by movement partners including: Abortion Care Network, All* Above All, ARC-Southeast, Black Women's Health Imperative, the Center for Reproductive Rights, In Our Own Voice: National Black Women's Reproductive Justice Agenda, Mississippi In Action, National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, National Network of Abortion Funds, National Women's Law Center, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood, Preterm, SHERo Mississippi, SisterSong, Trust Respect Access Coalition (TX), We Testify, UltraViolet, Whole Woman's Health, Women's March and many more organizations.
With over 600 sister marches and over 100,000 people marching, this groundswell of energy will send a clear message to legislators across the country: The continued attacks on abortion justice will not be tolerated.
On October 2, we will rally, march, and take action to stop this attack and any other attempts to restrict our constitutional right to access abortion care. Find an event near you and join us.
With the partnership of these organizations and your support, we will continue to fight to defend access to abortion.
In solidarity,
Center for Reproductive Rights
