I can’t say I’m surprised.

FEC DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 30TH
Chip in now to keep MD-02 and the House blue >>

Last week, every single House Republican voted against keeping the government open.

A government shutdown would deal a huge blow to our economy just as we’re starting to build back from the pandemic. It would cut off vital services Marylanders and Americans rely on every day.

But unfortunately, I can’t say I’m surprised by Washington Republicans’ actions.

These are the same politicians who voted against putting Child Tax Credit payments in families’ bank accounts and cutting child poverty by half.

Democrats’ vision for the future of our country is one where we rebuild by investing in American families with access to affordable child care, health care, and housing.

Washington Republicans’ vision for our country couldn’t be more different. They’re playing politics for the benefit of their own agendas and at the expense of Americans’ well-being.

Democrats are putting families in Maryland and across the country first. If we’re going to keep it that way, we need to build the resources now to keep MD-02 and the House Majority blue. And that’s why I need to ask: Will you chip in to our grassroots organization before the FEC deadline later this week?
