You may have heard that last week the Senate Parliamentarian ruled to block citizenship from this bill, but we want to make this clear: that's not the final word. The ACLU and our coalition partners won't stop fighting to secure citizenship for millions of people – and the more activists like you taking action, the louder our message. ACLU Supporter, for too long in this country, immigrant communities have faced unrelenting and heartless attacks – especially over the last four years of Trump.

Even now, xenophobic politicians and state officials are trying to undermine pro-immigrant policies and threaten so many of our loved ones and neighbors with deportation.

But in reality, 70% of Americans support citizenship for immigrants – which would provide a lifeline to millions of people. That means Congress has a clear mandate from voters to pass immigration reform this year. It's time they deliver.
