Friends,

Art for Justice is proud to support the upcoming production of Clyde’s by playwright Lynn Nottage at Second Stage Theater. Set in a truck stop sandwich shop that offers its formerly incarcerated kitchen staff a chance to reclaim their lives, this moving, urgent and funny play shines a light on the daily challenges and triumphs experienced by returning citizens. Nottage, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, is also the recipient of awards including the Obie, Drama Desk and MacArthur “Genius” grant.

We look forward to celebrating the opening of Clyde’s in November and feel certain it will help shift the narrative around ending mass incarceration.

All Best,

Helena
