John,
When I decided to run against Elise Stefanik, I knew it would have challenges. She’s risen in the ranks of the Republican party and has a lot of money in the bank—both thanks to her embrace of Donald Trump and the MAGA mob.
Even though I came prepared for name-calling and Twitter attacks, I am still shocked that she is explicitly embracing white-supremacist talking points for campaign cash.
Her ads about how immigrants are going to “overthrow our current electorate” echo the racist replacement theory that neo-Nazis chanted on the streets of Charlottesville. She uses language and imagery known to incite violence toward people of color for her own political gain.

This is personal for me. My great-grandmother immigrated to the United States from Italy and later opened a grocery store on the first floor of her house to help her family make ends meet—a store my parents continue to operate.
Immigrants like my great-grandmother helped build the America we know today, and Stefanik’s white-supremacist talking points are antithetical to the entire idea of the American dream.
I’m more motivated than ever to defeat Stefanik, and I hope you are too. If you have the capacity, please contribute today so we have the resources to run a strong campaign to remove her from office. My first major FEC deadline is in less than a week, and even a $5 contribution would make a difference.

Thank you so much for your support,
Matt
