National Voter Registration Day is coming up in just two days -- and Texas Democrats are gearing up to register voters all across our state! By now, you’ve probably heard about Project Texas -- our plan to register every eligible Democrat in Texas by the November 2022 elections. This is our chance to take back our state from Greg Abbott and Texas Republicans. But with our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline this week, we need your help to take Project Texas to the next level.

I’ll be honest, Friend -- our goal is pretty ambitious. There are two million Texans who are eligible to vote and likely to vote for Democrats, but aren’t registered -- and the vast majority are Texans of color. Black and Brown Texans have always been the heart of our Democratic movement. We know it, and Republicans know it -- so now they’re trying to silence our voices by making it even more difficult to cast a ballot.

We can’t let them diminish our power. And one major way we can fight back is by registering voters in every corner of our state. However, if we’re going to mobilize all two million unregistered Texas Democrats, it’s going to have to be all hands on deck.

That’s why we’re launching a Voter Registration Fund to kickstart our efforts before our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. But if we’re going to hit that goal, we need every single one of us to do their part. We need to raise $50,000 by our deadline this week. Will you rush $7 or whatever you can right now, and show Greg Abbott just what happens when he messes with Texas Democrats?

We’re fighting to make sure every Texas Democrat is ready to cast a ballot next November. This is about saving our state from Greg Abbott -- and finally putting power back in the hands of the people.
