Hey folks —

Last quarter my wife, Susan, bet me she could raise more money than I could before our quarterly deadline. I took her up on it and lost 2 to 1 — not my best work.

Since then, I helped pass the bipartisan infrastructure package to continue making progress, like we did with the American Rescue Plan, which kept 3 million kids out of poverty after the first month and is on track to cut child poverty nearly in half this year alone.

All that to say: I think this time around I’ve got a pretty good chance at outraising Susan, so I challenged her to round 2.
