Those were Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas’ exact words on September 20th.
Meanwhile, just a short walk from where he was standing, over TEN THOUSAND illegal immigrants huddled in the shade of a highway overpass, having just crossed the border into Del Rio, TX.
It would almost be laughable... if it wasn’t a crisis.
But that’s exactly what it is. And worse yet, it’s a crisis caused entirely by a political decision made by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to stop deportation flights back to Haiti.
Joe Biden has the power to end this crisis TOMORROW. Instead, his administration is deflecting.
The Secretary of Homeland Security stood just yards away from a sea of illegal immigrants and essentially told the American people, “Don’t believe your lying eyes!”
Well, our eyes aren’t deceiving us. There is a crisis on our southern border, and it’s a crisis of Joe Biden’s making.
I’m fighting to end this lawlessness, and to bring a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate to prevent anything like it from ever happening again.
