It’s clear that the challenges to progressives like me are coming from all sides!

First, special interests and radical extremists are doing everything they can to attack me for fighting to pass voting rights, preserving the right to choose, and making sure President Biden’s Build Back Better budget passes and is paid for by taxing the rich and ensuring powerful corporations pay their fair share.

Now, I have opponents running to take my seat – even including a Ron DeSantis style “Democrat” who is putting our kids and our community at risk by opposing masking and attacking progressive values.

The bottom line is this: I grew up in New York City and went to both high school and college here. Unlike my opponents, my support comes from grassroots supporters, and that’s exactly why I’m under attack.

Thursday at midnight is my first publicly reported FEC deadline since these attacks began, and I refuse to be intimidated.
