We measure the strength of our Democratic movement not by the amount of money we raise, but by the number of individuals who chip in. And the more supporters we have, the more clear it is to Mitch McConnell and everyone else who wants to destroy our majority that Democrats mean business. So when I ask you to donate, any amount helps -- even $1.

I need 10,000 people to donate to defend our Democratic majority before the FEC's public fundraising deadline next week. My team tells me we're nearing the halfway mark, but that we also haven't heard from you yet. So it's time to go on record.

I'm reaching out personally to ask you to be a part of our public fundraising record and get your name on our list of supporters who came through before the deadline.

I know this might just seem like another email, and I know you're probably getting a lot of donation requests right now. But I need to tell you the reason why we are all so anxious about the deadline on September 30th.

The public filings we give the FEC after midnight on September 30th will be combed over, analyzed, interpreted, and used as concrete evidence of our chance at defending and expanding the Democratic majority.

And with so much at stake -- from climate to voting rights -- we can't afford to lose an inch of our momentum.

So I'm asking: Will you make sure you're in our official record and show everyone how strong our Democratic majority is?
