Team, the end of the fundraising quarter is approaching in just a few days. So today, we’re setting a goal of raising $7,000 before our critical end-of-quarter deadline. Let us pull back the curtain on why reaching this goal is so important:
- At the end of the fundraising quarter, every campaign reports how much money they raised to the FEC.
- This public report is an important benchmark for our campaign because it will show everyone we are on track to have the resources needed to win this election.
- With Republicans only needing 5 seats to win back the House Majority, we have to show our opponents and political pundits that we have the support and resources to reelect Tom.
If we don’t hit our goals, this district could fall into the hands of National Republicans and their dark money backers. We need to prove that we have the resources to go against these outside dark money groups, which is why it’s crucial we hit our $7,000 goal.
