Week of September 19th, 2021

This week in the Senate I have been shining a light on the Biden Administration’s incompetence over the past eight months. The American people deserve better.
Americans want safe communities, a secure southern border, higher wages, and lower prices. That is not happening because of Biden’s mismanagement of issue after issue. The American people are noticing.
Afghanistan is now under Taliban control because of Biden’s botched withdrawal plan where he paid more attention to the calendar on the wall than the conditions on the ground. So who is paying the price? The Americans who lost their lives and those still behind enemy lines. We must get every American home and hold members of Biden’s national security team accountable.
Our southern border is in chaos because of Biden’s weak immigration policies. We are seeing live on television thousands of illegal immigrants crowding under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas. Since Biden has been in office, over a million illegal immigrants have crossed into the U.S. We need to get tough on the border.
When our economy should be booming, the purchasing power of people’s paychecks is getting eaten away. Inflation is happening because of the Democrats reckless borrowing and spending. We must stop them from borrowing and spending even more.
Under President Trump, our country was prospering. The economy was one of the best I have seen in my lifetime, our country was safe, and the drug cartels and human smugglers were not running the southern border.
Each one of Joe Biden’s crises could have been avoided. Each one is predictable and could have been prevented. If we had competent leadership in the White House, all of this could have been avoided.
As I travel from Cheyenne to Saratoga this weekend, I am looking to hear your thoughts on all of these issues.
