Hello,

I just wanted to make sure you saw Randi’s email from earlier in the week about the Build Back Better Act working its way through Congress. We need to make sure that this critical piece of legislation gets on President Joe Biden’s desk—and soon.

We’re asking you to write your lawmakers today and demand they pass the Build Back Better Act. They must keep getting letters from people like us so that they understand we’re waiting for this bill.

The Build Back Better plan will help American families right away by investing in school infrastructure, public services, making prescription medications more affordable, lowering the cost of child care for all families, increasing the eligibility for free school meals, making college more affordable, providing loan forgiveness for more nurses, and setting up future generations of Americans for success.

The Build Back Better plan would pay for these investments in our future by making sure that corporations and the super-rich pay their fair share. The legislation will raise the tax rate on corporations and close Trump-era loopholes for the wealthy—all while cutting taxes for middle-class families by scrapping the state and local tax deduction cap and enhancing the child tax credit.

We need to pass the Build Back Better Act ASAP. Click here to write your lawmakers and tell them to pass it.
