CAGW is making a difference! Here’s how.

Dear John,

As I am sure you have heard, President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are rushing to pass the most radical and expensive spending plan the country has ever seen.  If their $3.5 TRILLION spending spree becomes law, it will stand as the biggest expansion of the size, scope, and power of the federal government in history.

Since the plan was first announced, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) has been working around the clock to stop this plan – and we have seen real results.

But to continue our campaign to stop this wasteful and dangerous legislation, we urgently need your financial support today.

Within the first few hours after the bill’s announcement, CCAGW launched an all-out assault to stop this radical, wasteful, and completely partisan spending plan from ever reaching the President’s desk.  Our Policy team has been in constant contact with House members and Senators demanding that they oppose this wasteful spending scheme, including sending 10 separate letters to members of Congress.

We’ve posted six separate articles on our website detailing how Biden’s $3.5 TRILLION plan will increase everyone’s taxes, bankrupt the country, and move American closer to becoming a socialist nation.  These articles have been read by hundreds of thousands of Americans from all across the country.

Most importantly, we have launched five public Action Alert campaigns since the plan was announced.  These campaigns connected tens of thousands of Americans with their elected officials, and they have delivered more than 35,000 citizen letters to Capitol Hill opposing the Democrats’ outrageous spending plan.

John, these efforts are getting real results.

Democrats in Congress are now in total disarray.  Since our campaign launched, Democratic Senators Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have both gone on the record in opposition to this massive expansion of government, and at least 10 Democrats in the House have balked at the high cost of the plan.

The Democrat majority is so small that if four Democrats in the House and only one senator vote against the $3.5 trillion plan, it will fail to pass.

Our campaigns have also caused delay after delay in attempts to ram this legislation through Congress.  Democrats initially intended to pass their plan in July, but that deadline was been pushed back to Labor Day and now their new deadline is the end of September.  It’s looking increasingly unlikely that even this latest deadline will be possible.

Despite these successes, history has shown us that Pelosi, Schumer, and Biden are conniving and will not go down without a fight.

That’s why it is more important than ever that we capitalize on Democrat disarray and finally put an end to this spending scheme.

We urgently need your financial support today to continue our positive momentum.

Please make a financial contribution to CCAGW to help us maintain our campaign to stop this massive increase in the size, scope, and power of the federal government.

Your contribution will enable us to expand our grassroots advocacy campaigns to stop Biden’s $3.5 TRILLION spending spree.   Your financial support will make it possible for CCAGW to go toe-to-toe with the well-funded, entrenched special interests who would personally benefit from Biden’s scheme.

Please, before you do anything else today, make your largest contribution of $25.00, $50.00, or even $75.00 to support our efforts to save America from bankruptcy and prevent the United States from becoming a socialist country.

Thank you for your involvement and financial support.

Sincerely,

Thomas A. Schatz
President
