We said goodbye to a real one this week... a real traffic nightmare, anyway. The Wendy's in the middle of DC's infamous "Dave Thomas Circle" closed earlier this week to make way for a project in which DC will try to fix the intersection's baffling traffic pattern.

As we make our way into fall, it's clear that many of the economic struggles people have been facing during the pandemic are still around. Thousands of people in our region are behind on rent, and in some places, evictions are picking back up.
