** ZOA Blasts ‘Bigots’ Who Voted to Defund Israel’s Iron Dome

After House Democrats announced ([link removed]) they will cut roughly $1 billion in funding for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system from the short-term government funding bill, Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) chief Morton Klein blasted the “overt Jew-haters” among the Democrats who supported the move.
“It is frightening that the U.S. Congress now consists of overt Jew-haters like Reps. AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ([link removed]) ](NY), Ilhan Omar ([link removed]) (Minn.), Rashida Tlaib ([link removed]) (Mich.), Mark Pocan ([link removed]) (Wis.), Ayanna Pressley ([link removed]) (Mass.), Jamaal Bowman (NY), Cori Bush (Mo.), Pramila Jayapal ([link removed]) (Wash.), Betty McCollum (Minn.) and others who are supporting the anti-American Palestinian Arab terrorist dictatorships of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority over the pro-American human rights loving democracy of Israel,” Klein’s statement begins.
“Their opposing funding [of] Israel’s solely defensive weapon of the Iron Dome shows their ugly antisemitism has no limits,” it reads. “Their opposing Israel’s purchase of certain US precision weaponry that allows Israel to target only Hamas terrorists, rocket launchers, and terror tunnels while avoiding harming Arab civilians shows these Congress members’ Jew-hatred is more important to them than fighting radical Muslim terrorists,” the statement continues.
“Just as troubling is the refusal by leaders of the Democratic Party from [President] Joe Biden ([link removed]) to [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi ([link removed]) and [House Majority Leader] Steny Hoyer to publicly condemn these bigots by name and punish them by removing them from every Committee on which they serve,” the statement continues.
“Their refusal is allowing the dangerous mainstreaming and legitimization of antisemitism,” Klein notes.

During a July 19, 2021 interview on CNN’s Don Lemon Tonight, Ocasio-Cortez spoke ([link removed]) in defense of the teaching of Critical Race Theory ([link removed]) in America’s public schools: “Why don’t you want our schools to teach anti-racism? Why don’t Republicans want their kids to know the tradition of anti-racism in the United States? Why are Republicans trying to ban books in this country? Why are Republicans trying to ban speech? Why are they trying to fire certain professors? Why are they attacking the core roots of history in this country that strays anything beyond what we already know? Why don’t Republicans want us to learn how to not be racist? Why don’t Republicans want kids to know how to not be racist?”
The congresswoman continued: “Republicans are using these words like Critical Race Theory, which again is a law school curriculum that is not even taught in schools. Their argument is well, some teachers may be exposed to it. Oh, wow, so your child’s teacher is anti-racist and actually fluent in how to dismantle racism in the dynamics of racism in a classroom. That is something that teachers should know how to do. Republicans are trying to ban this. They are trying to ban us from knowing our own history. Because if we don’t know our own history, then it is easier for them to curtail our rights to vote and take us backward to the 1960s as they have been doing with many state laws.”
Ocasio-Cortez also “the Republican base and party” of having “pivoted to using race and using the changing demographics of this country and as we saw on January 6, using a white supremacist core logic in order to reanimate a very core fear of the other in this country.”
