On behalf of the tens of thousands of military families in Northwest Florida, I’m proud to support this year’s National Defense Authorization Act. Upgrading training systems, investing in research, and the 2.7% pay raise are a few essential bipartisan accomplishments through the passage of NDAA. Below are some more magnificent achievements for Northwest Florida:
-$395 million dollars authorized for military construction to Eglin AFB
-$169 million for a U.S. Army Chinook Helicopter
-$100 million for the planning & design of the AF Weapons Technology Integration Center (WTIC)
-$91 million to build the Weapons Research Experimentation Control Center
-$74 million to build Eglin’s new F-35 mission
-$73 million to Eglin MILCON for an Integrated Control Facility
-$21 million to build advanced data fusion of cyber technologies
I voted in favor of this year's National Defense Authorization Act — it provides our military with the necessary resources to defend the nation, supports service members and their families, and brings $600 million to Northwest Florida military installations and our communities in Florida's First District.

This week I sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, calling on him to immediately shut down Saudi Arabia’s Los Angeles Consulate until litigation on the Consulate’s involvement in the planning of the 9/11 attacks is resolved. I eagerly await his response, with the interests of 9/11 families in mind.

On Wednesday, I joined Steve Bannon on War Room to discuss the Democrats scantily publicized internal war, their failed policy initiatives, and the reckless Continuing Resolution. $12 Trillion in spending under this administration has now gotten the Democrats to this ignorant initiative of "increasing the debt ceiling". The Woketopians and the 'Moderate' Democrats are in a full-fledged war over spending initiatives, but you have to dig deep to find out! Mainstream Democrat media outlets seem to have other things to report on than the country's deficit spending.

Yesterday, I sent a letter to Israeli Ambassador Gilad Erdan requesting an in-person meeting concerning texts sent between Jake Novak, the Broadcast Media Relations Director at Israel’s Consulate in New York, and American political commentator, Scott Adams. The inappropriate subject matter of the texts concerned me and my family.
FUNDING VA COLA ADJUSTMENT
I am proud to have voted in favor of S. 189, "to provide for annual cost-of-living adjustments...for veterans with service-connected disabilities and the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation for survivors of certain service-connected disabled veterans". Rest assured, a divided Washington can still find the decency, honor, and common sense to vote for adequate Veteran compensation for America's heroes.
