NH FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN
NH YOUNG REPUBLICANS
NH FEDERATION OF COLLEGE REPUBLICANS

FRIEND,

I would first like to congratulate VICTORIA SULLIVAN
[[link removed]] on her successful election
in this week’s mayoral primary. We applaud your driven efforts to
relieve Manchester’s citizens of the disastrous repercussions of
Mayor Joyce Craig’s leadership and we look forward to working with
you to retire her once and for all.

Many have also seen the recent social events held by our own NH Young
Republicans, and for those who haven’t, check out their FACEBOOK
[[link removed]] page! After a successful
“Republican Round-Up” in Manchester, they went on to host “Pints
and Politics” in Concord and will be having their "GRAND OL' BEACH
PARTY" [[link removed]] this coming
Wednesday at Bernies Beach Bar. These outings are incredibly important
and will help our state engage future voters! If you’ve never been
involved before, check out their WEBSITE [[link removed]] and
their upcoming EVENTS [[link removed]] - and don’t
forget you can help by spreading the word to your family, friends, and
even grandchildren about these casual meet-ups!

Thanks to the state budget we recently passed, Laconia taxpayers will
save more than $1.25 million under the Statewide Property Tax.
That’s direct relief for taxpayers, but the budget also helps
property taxpayers in other ways by sharing funds with cities and
towns.

For instance, we’ve increased revenue sharing under the Meals and
Rooms Tax to 30 percent. That will mean more than $1.1 million going
directly to Laconia in each of the next two years, helping to lower
taxes. In addition, the two-year budget includes more than $23 million
in Adequate Education Grants for Laconia schools.

I’m happy that our state budget is great news for hard working
Laconia families.

SEN. HAROLD FRENCHCANTERBURY

REPUBLICAN OF THE WEEK: RITA MATTSON

THIS WEEK’S REPUBLICAN OF THE WEEK IS STATE REPRESENTATIVE BOB
GREENE. AS A REPRESENTATIVE FOR HUDSON & PELHAM, HE HAS SERVED ON THE
HOUSE FINANCE AND LEGISLATIVE ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEES AS WELL AS
CURRENTLY SERVING ON THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.

IN HIS RECENT OP-ED, REPRESENTATIVE GREEN EXPRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF
GRANITE STATE REPUBLICANS INVOLVING THEMSELVES BEYOND SIMPLY GETTING
OUT TO CAST THEIR BALLOT. WITH DEMOCRATS’ USING LARGE DARK MONEY
GROUPS, AND OUT-OF-TOUCH CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS, WE NEED ACTIVISTS ON
THE GROUND MORE THAN EVER. COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILIES,
AND NEIGHBORS ABOUT LOCAL ELECTIONS IS ONLY SKIMMING THE SURFACE OF
HAVING INFLUENCE TOWARDS A CAMPAIGN. READ THE REPRESENTATIVE’S OP-ED
BELOW FOR THE FULL STORY ON WHY NH REPUBLICANS NEED TO STEP UP TO THE
PLATE IN EXPANDING CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP IN THE GRANITE STATE.
