Last week, I announced my support for drafting and filing articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Friend, I did not make this decision lightly — but in the face of considerable proof that President Trump has betrayed his oath of office, our national security, and the integrity of our elections, I believe that Congress must proceed with drafting articles of impeachment.

I believe President Trump has repeatedly used his presidency to undermine our democracy for the benefit of himself, his family, and his allies. His recent actions involving Ukraine are just the latest example of this, and his subsequent obstruction of the impeachment investigation is itself an impeachable offense.
