A poll conducted several weeks ago (October 4-6th) was released this week. It shows that Portland’s mayor race is a virtual dead-heat.

My campaign was within the margin of error from both of our competitors, and that's before we were endorsed by the Press Herald on October 17th and before we had 30 people knocking doors every weekend. Talk about momentum!

I started this race in March with little name recognition, against two competitors who had already been raising money and campaigning for months. Thanks to a strong commitment from my team and a growing number of volunteers, we are picking up steam at just the right time.
