1. NC VALUES: 🎉 Celebrate with Mark Robinson
Lt. Governor Mark Robinson has an exceptional story.
As the 9th of 10 children, Robinson grew up in a home without heat, air conditioning, or a shower. His father was an abusive alcoholic. As a result, he and his nine siblings made their way through the foster care system, some of them ending up in abusive situations. Eventually, Robinson and his siblings were able to move back in with their mother, a devout woman of faith. Robinson credits her as the reason he is the man he is today. She taught him about the Bible, and always told her children they could be whatever they put their minds to.
Robinson’s childhood taught him the value of hard work and perseverance. He joined the Army reserves where he served as a medical specialist for three years. He worked in the furniture industry before NAFTA hampered the industry, and he and his wife Yolanda started their own business—a day care center—which they later sold.
Then, his life changed forever.
Click here <[link removed]> to read the rest of his story. We also want to extend to you an opportunity to get to know Mark Robinson personally <[link removed]>, and hear him for yourself. On September 30th, coalition members from all across the state will be gathering at the Angus Barn in Raleigh to celebrate 10 years of protecting values and supporting candidates like Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.

2. FRC: How should Christians think about Biden’s vaccine mandate?
"On September 9, President Joe Biden announced new executive action concerning COVID-19 vaccines. According to the president’s plan, all employers with more than 100 employees must require their workers to be vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. Businesses that do not comply with the rule can be fined up to $14,000 per violation. The new mandate follows a recent mandate that all federal employees receive the vaccine, get tested weekly, or face dismissal from their job. The new regulation is supposed to be drafted and implemented by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) of the U.S. Department of Labor (although some think this is without legal authority). Currently, it is unclear what type of medical, religious, or conscience exemptions will be granted concerning the vaccine mandate.
How should Christians respond to President Biden’s sweeping vaccine mandate? Specifically, how should Christians think about religious exemptions and accommodations? Admittedly, these are complex questions on which many biblically grounded Christians differ. But given the scope and far-reaching consequences for civil liberties, conscience rights, religious freedom, and the ability of families to make health decisions, these questions deserve careful consideration and reflection."

3. NATIONAL REVIEW: Texas stood up for the unborn — others must follow
"The pro-life cause has just secured a major victory for the unborn and their mothers, with further protections possible soon — if its champions stay courageous and don’t flinch. The Supreme Court’s decision to leave the Texas Heartbeat Act standing was an unexpected blessing and has resulted in an estimated hundreds of abortions prevented thus far. The goal of the pro-life movement has always been to make abortion illegal and unthinkable. Texans are doing just that, in defiance of the undemocratic stifling of debate wrought by the Supreme Court years ago . . . and we should celebrate it and support them. Political leaders need to speak up — this law has the potential to save a hundred or more unborn children with beating hearts from the brutality of abortion each day it is in effect."

4. FOX NEWS: Texas mom erupts at school board over 'anal sex' passage in middle schoolers' book
"'You are supposed to be educating our children,' the mother scolded"
"I do not want my children to learn about anal sex in middle school," said Bell, raising her voice before her mic was cut off. "You are not public health officials. You are supposed to be educating our children."

5. WBTV: Governor Cooper accuses parents objecting to CRT and other issues at School Board Meetings of being bullies
"'Many are concerned about the fevered pitch that many school board meetings have reached in recent weeks. I am, too,' Gov. Cooper said. 'Threats, bullying, intimidation. None of this belongs in our public schools, particularly by adults. Remember – our children are watching.'”
Yes, our children are watching, Governor Cooper. That's the point. They are watching the lessons in perversion and division activist educators are forcing down their throats. That's why parents are mad to begin with...

WEEKLY PRAYER: LEADERS
LORD, we worship a mighty God who has the power to change hearts and minds. We lean on you as we continue to fight for the values we hold dear. Give our leaders Your wisdom—and courage to live it out.
Specifically, Lord, we thank you for the courageous leader and bold witness we have in Lt. Governor, Mark Robinson. Lord, protect him and his family, and continue to guide his life and his witness on your behalf. We praise you that his heart is filled with your Holy Spirit and his life is dedicated to truth. Please send more like him, Lord.
"But for you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, and endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses....Guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed form the faith. Grace be with you all." 1 Timothy 6
Amen.
