Today, I was lucky enough to be able to return to the city I was born in, Scranton, PA.
You may remember that earlier this year, Donald Trump tried to attack me at his campaign rally by saying I abandoned Pennsylvania when my family moved to Delaware.
Well, look, I've never forgotten where I came from. We left Scranton for the same reason a lot of families did -- my dad had to make the longest walk a parent can make and tell us kids that he couldn't find work, and had to move to Delaware.
Let me be clear, folks: this isn't just about me. Many families across the country have had to face the same struggles.
But Donald Trump doesn't understand this at all.
He's not here to make life less difficult for others. He's here to make life better for himself.
The longest walk Trump's father ever made was to drop off $400 million in his trust fund account.
I've spent my whole career -- and will continue to do so -- fighting like hell to make sure Americans have food on their table and a roof over their head.
I'm ready to keep fighting. And listen, I hope I can count on you to be by my side. If you're with me, will you chip in to my campaign today?

I was 10 years old when we moved away -- and more than fifty years later, through two presidential campaigns, Barack Obama kept talking about me being a scrappy kid from Scranton.
I'd say, for God's sake, Barack, I served Delaware for 36 years. But he was right about something, Scranton never leaves you.
It climbs into your heart, and it never lets go.
I'll never forget where I came from and the values I learned in Scranton that still guide me today.
Thanks for reading,
