Youngkin (R): 48% McAuliffe (D): 43% ** Research America Inc poll of likely voters 9.13.21 ** Here's an election that should be on your radar, John. Early voting for Virginia's November election is already underway, and Democrat Terry McAuliffe is facing off against far-right, pro-Trump Republican Glenn Youngkin. Polls show Youngkin in the lead amongst likely voters. Not good... Virginia is one of the few places where statewide elections are held during the off-year, giving us a good picture of what to expect during next year's midterms. The good news is that McAuliffe maintains a narrow lead amongst registered voters. If we're going to beat far-right, pro-Trump Youngkin, McAuliffe is going to need a ton of people chipping in to reach more undecided voters and independents.
