Bernie’s budget is the most significant investment in working Americans since the New Deal, and the next few days will be critical to making sure it gets passed.

If our democracy actually worked, passing it would be no problem since the bill and nearly every provision in it are wildly popular with voters.

Sadly, American politics is drowning in big money, and corporations are flooding Washington with lobbyists to kill Bernie’s bill and make sure the wealthy don’t have to pay their fair share of taxes.

Next week, Democratic leadership will have to decide whether they stand with the people in support of Bernie’s budget or the corporate lobbyists trying to kill it.

To make sure they understand the stakes, Our Revolution is holding protests at the offices of corporate Democrats and is running ads to their voters to make sure they know the cost of betraying the American people.
