John,
Summer is over and Hoosiers are back to school, back to work, and back to college football. Governor Holcomb has been hard at work for Indiana.
As one of the Governor’s top supporters, I wanted you to get an inside look at the ways the Holcomb Administration is making Indiana’s future bright.
Catch up on all the ways the Governor is striving to build ONE INDIANA FOR ALL below: Governor Holcomb is devoted to honoring the memory and service of Hoosiers. He recently spoke at the Indiana Statewide 9/11 Memorial where they unveiled the additions of a piece of limestone from the Pentagon and a tree derived from a tree that survived Ground Zero. The Pentagon is predominantly built from Indiana limestone.
Governor Holcomb also honored the memory of Marine Cpl. Humberto Sanchez from Logansport, who was killed last month in a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport.
As part of a federal effort to rescue innocent Afghans from the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan, Indiana National Guardsmen are hosting and supporting refugees at Camp Atterbury. Governor Holcomb had the chance to visit with Indiana service members and Afghan refugees during his visit.
The Governor has also announced a donation-based collection system to support the emerging needs of Afghan refugees. Learn more here.
Just last week the Governor hosted Minister Al Zeyoudi from the United Arab Emirates to discuss trade and innovation opportunities.
“We look forward to continuing to strengthen the Indiana-UAE partnership and to a strong Hoosier presence at the 2020 Expo in Dubai.” - Governor Eric Holcomb
You know that Eric is passionate about improving the lives of all Hoosiers and continuing to make Indiana an amazing place to live.
John, thank you as always for your continued support Building One Indiana for ALL.
