Yesterday, William Taylor — a top diplomat to Ukraine — confirmed that the occupant of the White House presented Ukraine a quid pro quo in an attempt to sully a political rival and invite foreign involvement in our elections.
According to Taylor, Trump conditioned the payment of military aid on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s willingness to open politically motivated investigations into one of Trump’s possible 2020 opponents.
Mr. Taylor’s testimony is just further confirmation of this Administration’s deep seated corruption, and the willingness of the occupant of the White House to put his own political interests ahead of national security.
While Trump tries to distract us from his corruption by fanning the flames of racism and hatred, Ayanna is going to keep working to hold this Administration accountable and impeach the occupant of the White House.
